How do Calma Sleeps bamboo pajamas fit?
Our bamboo sleepwear is designed with a relaxed, comfortable fit that allows for natural movement during sleep. The fabric has a gentle drape and slight stretch, providing comfort without feeling restrictive. Most customers find our sizing true to standard NZ sizing.
Should I size up or down?
If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing up for a more relaxed fit. If you prefer a closer, more fitted look, choose your usual size. Keep in mind that bamboo fabric is naturally breathable and has a soft, flowing quality.
Will bamboo pajamas shrink after washing?
When cared for properly (cold wash, line dry or low tumble dry), our bamboo sleepwear maintains its size beautifully. We pre-wash our fabrics to minimize shrinkage. Avoid hot water and high heat drying to keep your pajamas in perfect condition.
Do the pants have an adjustable waist?
Yes, our bamboo pajama pants feature an elasticated waistband with an adjustable drawstring, allowing you to customize the fit to your comfort level. The elastic is soft and non-binding for all-night comfort.
What if I'm tall or petite?
Our pajama pants come in standard inside leg lengths (see size chart above). If you're taller, sizing up will add length. For petite frames, the pants can be hemmed without affecting the quality—bamboo fabric hems beautifully and won't fray easily.
How do I measure myself for the perfect fit?
Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.
Waist: Measure around your natural waistline (the narrowest part of your torso).
Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips and bottom.
Inside Leg: Measure from the crotch seam down to your ankle bone.

What's your exchange policy if the size isn't right?
We want you to love your Calma Sleeps pajamas! If the size isn't quite right, we offer exchanges within 14 days of purchase for unworn, unwashed items with tags attached. Please contact us using the contact form to arrange an exchange.
